Analysis of Common Causes of Bearing Noise and Vibration
Date:
Abnormal noise or vibration during bearing operation may result from the following common causes:
· Improper installation causing ring tilt or unreasonable interference fit;
· Foreign matter entering raceways or poor lubrication;
· Improper clearance selection or excessive preload;
· Out-of-tolerance roundness and concentricity of shaft / housing bore;
· Seal failure leading to ingress of moisture or dust.
Saihe Bearings undergoes multiple tests including vibration (noise) inspection before delivery. If abnormalities occur on site, please record working condition parameters and contact technical support for troubleshooting.
